Pear & Fennel Salad
This amazing salad is perfect over summer when pears are in season. Adding fruit to a salad can also help making the idea of a salad more appealing to fussy eaters too! This is great for alight lunch with some crusty bread, or as a side dish with some tomato pasta.

- 1 Bulb Fennel
- 1 Ripe Pear
- ~50g Goats Cheese
- Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- Black Pepper
- Core and finely slice the pear and finely slice the fennel
- Add to a bowl and dot in some goats cheese drizzle over some extra virgin olive oil and crack over some black pepper.

Additional Information
If you prefer, you can substitute the goats cheese for shavings of parmesan.
Note: Raw vegetables can be a choking hazard for weaning babies, so I would not advise this for weaning infants (though you could offer them steamed fennel and pear if you wanted baby to be included in the meal).
