Lamb Bhuna Burger

Spice up your next BBQ with these tasty burgers! Perfect for the whole family, and quick and easy to make. This can be a good way of introducing spices into your family's diet in a food they may be more comfortable with too.

  • 500g Lamb Mince
  • 1tsp Ground Cumin Seeds
  • 1tsp Ground Coriander
  • 1tsp Garam Masala
  • 1 tbsp Tomato Puree
  • 1/2tsp Ground Fenugreek
  • 1/4 tsp Ground Cinnamon
  • Optional: Chilli Flakes
  • 4 Burger Buns
  • Extras: Lettuce, Tomatoes, Raita, Mango Chutney
  1. In a bowl, mix the lamb with the cumin, coriander, garam masala, tomato puree, fenugreek, and cinnamon. Add in some chilli flakes if you want too. Bring together into a ball, divide into 4, and form into 4 burgers- or more smaller ones if you prefer.
  2. Either cook on the BBQ, or in a frying pan, until cooked through- approximately 10 minutes on each side.
  3. Serve these with raita (a minty yoghurt dip), mango chutney, lettuce and tomatoes.

Additional Information

You could try making these with your kids too- just make sure there is plenty of soapy water on hand to wash their hands afterwards!
