Jammy Crumble Bites
These are perfect to bake with your little ones and because it makes quite a lot (approx 20) they are perfect for parties. I like to make this with strawberry jam, but feel free to mix it up with lots of different flavours!

- 150g Oats
- 200g Soft Light Brown Sugar
- 200g Plain Flour (or Gluten Free Flour)
- 1tsp Baking Powder
- 200g Melted Butter
- 300g Jam (I like strawberry)
- Preheat the oven to 180C/ 160 Fan/ Gas 5 and grease and line a square 20cmx20cm cake tin.
- Mix the oats, flour, baking powder, butter and sugar together. Put 1/3 of the mixture to one side, then press the remaining 2/3s into the cake tin, making a flat base.
- Carefully spread over the jam in an even layer- be careful not to lift the base too much, you may want to slightly warm the jam to make this easier. Sprinkle over the remaining oaty mixture to create a thick crumble top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown. Leave it to cool completely before slicing into small bites.

To make these gluten free, make sure you choose gluten free oats, as well a gluten free flour.
