Heart Jam Tarts

A simple recipe to cook with kids- perfect for sharing with loved ones! This works well with my chia seed jam to provide a low-sugar option for you too!

  • Ready-Rolled Puff Pastry
  • Jam
  • Maple Syrup
  1. Preheat the oven to 200C/180C Fan/Gas 6. Line a baking tray with greaseproof paper.
  2. Unroll the puff pastry and stamp as many heart shapes out as you can with a heart-shaped cookie cutter.
  3. Brush each heart with a thin layer of maple syrup using a pastry brush then put about 0.5-1 tsp of jam in the middle of each heart.
  4. Place them on the baking tray and bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes. Allow to cool before serving.

The ready-roll puff pastry I use is dairy-free but please check your packaging.
