Sesame Salmon Nuggets

Everyone loves nuggets (especially kids), and what better way to get some healthy, oily fish in the diet than these! Serve with some homemade potato wedges, and a salad or veggies.

Ready In: 45 mins

  • 4 Salmon Fillets
  • 50g Plain Flour
  • 75g Sesame Seeds
  • 75g Bread Crumbs
  • 2 Eggs
  • Black Pepper
  1. Preheat the oven to 200C/180C Fan/ Gas 6. Line a baking tray with greaseproof paper.
  2. Put the flour in one bowl, whisk the 2 eggs in a second bowl and combine the sesame seeds, bread crumbs and some ground pepper in a third bowl.
  3. Remove the skin from the salmon fillets, and chop into large chunks. Dip each nugget in the flour until evenly coated, shake off any excess, then dip in the egg, and finally roll in the sesame mix until completely coated. Place on the baking tray and repeat with the rest of the salmon.
  4. Bake the nuggets for 20-25 minutes until golden brown, turning halfway. Serve with some homemade chips and some veggies.
