Banana Pancakes

This banana pancake recipe is perfect for weaning your baby, but can be enjoyed by all the family. This is great for baby-led weaning.

Serves: 9 - 12

Cooking Time: 3 - 5 Mins

Ready In: 5 - 7 Mins

  • 1 Banana
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 Tbsp Sunflower Oil
  1. Mash the banana in a bowl with a fork then mix in the egg, until you have a thoroughly combined batter.
  2. Heat the oil in a frying pan and then spoon in the mixture to get small pancakes. Fry gently on a medium to low heat for a few minutes until one side is golden. Flip, and cook for a further 2 minutes.
  3. Place the pancakes on some kitchen roll to absorb any excess oil then serve when slightly cooled.

Additional Information

These are the perfect baby weaning snack. If you do serve with blueberries like in the picture make sure they're chopped age appropriately!
